If your CRT has bad overscan (parts of the picture being cut off) you may want to fix that. If the loose SCART port is giving you audio issues you could potentially get around that with an audio breakout box, Retro Gaming Cables also sells one of those.
If you want the lowest latency or if you just like the look of retro games on CRT you can certainly go that route. I had the cable preordered so I'm hoping for it to arrive soon. Bob from RetroRGB has made a video on the RAD2X and the Saturn already if you're looking for first impressions. The RAD2X does look to be a great plug and play solution, but the first batch was only shipped yesterday. Look up My Life in Gaming's RGB Masterclass videos if you want more information on these devices.
They're also ideal if you have a multi-console setup as they can easily be connected to a SCART switcher (plus the cost of multiple RAD2Xs will quickly add up). The OSSC and Framemeister do have their idiosyncrasies, but if you give them the right signal they will give you low/zero lag gameplay (TV processing aside) without any visual issues.
